Let's Make a Toast

As May comes to a close we are getting close to graduation and that means CELEBRATION season... but also summer body prep season, too. These are 5 easy toast recipes to keep you full longer and get your day off to a healthy and hearty start.

1. Peanut Butter & Banana

Peanut butter is a healthy fat and a solid source of protein that leaves you feeling full longer than most spreads. If you don't like bananas, you can easily swap in green grapes for a nice pop of flavor. Another alternative is using an English muffin instead of a piece of bread. My favorite brand is the Thomas 100 Calorie "Light" English muffins.

2. Avocado Toast

Avocado toast has gone viral and increased in popularity as an at home breakfast and even on menus at the nicest of brunch and breakfast restaurants. Avocado is another healthy fat that can be good for you, if you don't eat too much. Add an egg on top of your avocado for added protein and sustenance.

3. Nutella & Strawberries Toast

Nutella and strawberries is perfect for breakfast when you're feeling a little sweet and even for a healthy treat or snack later in the day. Nutella is a fan favorite among most people because it is so similar to chocolate. I promise this pair will be one you keep coming back to for more and more.

4. Almond Butter & Granola & Honey Toast

So many easy ways to spice up your almond butter toast. If you have a peanut allergy, almond butter is a great alternative for spreads. Granola and honey is our favorite go-to, but fruit is always welcome and pear is perfection to pop on top.

5. Hummus & Tomato Toast

Sometimes you need something a little savory in the morning and hummus and tomato are the perfect combo to keep you full. Hummus is light but filling and a great spread made from Chia seeds and natural ingredients. Tomato adds color and added nutrition and flavor.

Mornings will be your favorite if you look forward to trying a new toast every day. Let us know which is your favorite.

Here's to celebration,

XOXO Grace
